4 out of 5  "Worth nothing less, yet nothing more!!!" - 5 December 2006
Firstly this headset is sturdy, well designed and works like a charm. It may not fit the heads of all gamers out there, but I would imagine it would suite most. Playing BF 2142 on this for the first time really brought it to life, the sound quality is excellent and the mic. has a good pick up also. Its flaws are few, however, it dose feel odd to wear and can hurt a little after hours of play. It isn't very portable either, however if I where to game on the move, the blast that you get out of the headphones would make it all worth the while. Not worth of the bad press it gets, for the price this is a good bit of kit.

5 out of 5  "Excellent" - 28 January 2007
Ive used this headset for a year and have had no problems at all, Fits fine on the head, mic is at a good position so u dont have it to close or to far away, is excellent sound quality and wont break easily

You probably have to have the right head and like the "back off the head band" instead off the normal band over the head to like it fully

5 out of 5  "Really good headset" - 1 February 2007
I bourght this headset as a recomendation from a freind as I was put off it in the past due to the poor reviews on this website. However, after for having it for over two weeks now I have to say that I don't know what they're all going on about it fits my head and ears perfectly, though it does take a couple of hours to get used to the band going round the back of your head but soon becomes comerfortable. The microphone, whilst admitidly is in a rather strange place seems to pick my voice up just fine. As for the sound quality well what can I say it is obvious that it will be good with 40mm drivers but I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it is. Over all I think that this is without doubt the best headset that I have ever used I have no problem recomending it to all of the people that I know.

4 out of 5  "Mixed Feelings" - 20 September 2005
I've had this headset for a few months now, and used it extensively, and I still can't decide if I love it or hate it. The sound it produces is really good (those are 40 mm drivers, after all), the microphone pick-up is good and clear (and you won't get a chance to swallow it, since it doesn't stand in front of your mouth), the build is solid (it has survived some traveling torture) and, one has to admit, the thing does look cool. However... If you put it on wrongly, don't have a head of just the right size, and/or wear glasses, it can get very, very uncomfortable, since it will either put too much pressure on your head, or hang its not unconsiderable weight on your ears, or a bit of both. This can be countered by bending the back band a bit (I bent it quite a lot, and it didn't break) and finding the right position to wear it in, but you might not find the procedure worth the bother.

To conclude:
Pros: above average sound quality, good mic, looks.
Con: ergonomics.
Rating: 3.5 stars, but I had to round it. Up for the sound quality. :)

3 out of 5  "Uncomfortable headset, one size doesn't fit all" - 23 February 2006
This headset although giving excellent quality of sound sits on the back of your head threatening to fall off at the slightest wiggle. It stretches to a point but doesnt fit all head sizes comfortably. In our house we have a ten year old boy, a 13 year old girl, a man and a woman. My daughter finds it okay, I find it an annoyance.

1 out of 5  "Awful" - 25 November 2006
Simply do not buy. The sound quality is fine. However the microphone is positioned and cased in such a way that it will not pick up voice unless the user shouts. All volumes turned to full the microphone will not pick up your voice.

For a product claiming to be primarily for gaming and for a user using the headset primarily for gaming it's not good enough. Buy a cheaper product with a working microphone.

2 out of 5  "Logitech unprecision PC Gaming Headset with bad microphone" - 10 May 2007
Simply, the headset is designed in such a way that you have to shout for the microphone to pic up any noice, the settings on my computer are even set to Microphone Boost and it is still very quiet, If buying for the sound quality go for it, but the microphone just is not positioned right to pick up your voice
